Damascus Steel Blade Smithing
After much deliberation, I decided to forge an agressive kitchen knife with an all steel handle.
Step 1. Layer 2 different types of high carbon steel and forge into a solid billet.
Step 2. Layer and forge together different billets to form new patterns.
Step 3. Hammer layered billet into a rough knife shape.
Step 4. Grind, sand, and file away excess material to define the blade and handle.

Well, while i was sanding the face of my blade, i slipped off the tip of the knife and then accidentally back into my palm. The result of which was a deep gash that required three stitches. But, Hey at least it works!
